If you choose to donate $2,500, you can provide over 300 home-delivered meals or support nearly 600 meals at congregate meal sites where seniors gather for nourishment and community. A larger gift of $5,000 can deliver around 700 home-delivered meals, ensuring our seniors not only receive healthy food but also have regular check-ins that promote their overall safety and well-being.
How we vet recipient partners
We take accountability seriously. Our partner organizations are vetted to ensure they meet rigorous standards set forth by the Area Agencies on Aging and adhere to the federal and state regulations of the Older Americans Act Title III-C nutrition standards. This includes prioritizing providers with no or minimal waiting lists, ensuring immediate access to vital nutritional services for seniors in need.
How proceeds flow
After processing and towing costs, approximately 70-80% of the auction proceeds from vehicle donations directly support our partner nonprofits. This funding is further allocated based on established program ratios, ensuring that most of your donation goes directly to providing meals and services to Nebraska’s seniors.
